Your soul, your essence, has inherent qualities that can be expressed and embodied during each incarnation. It is divinely created and the information it holds about YOU can be accessed through different ways, in order to receive guidance into what your soul wants to experience, so that you can grow and advance. In this particular article, we’ll discuss how through astrology, this Soul’s Roadmap can be retrieved, containing a lot of data about many aspects of yourself: your essence, gifts and talents, your ideal vocations, the core about how you relate to others, your emotional needs, what motivates you, your possible career interests, how and where you shine, your creativity, purpose and the possible challenges you may experience in life. Sounds like a lot, right?! But the great thing about accessing this information from your Natal Chart, is that it can help you evolve in your path. Let’s look into eight benefits you can experience by learning more about your Soul’s Path Roadmap:
- It allows you to gain a deep understanding about yourself. You are who you are. Personal transformation is about understanding your different traits: the shadow and light, so you can accept the first and develop more of the latter. This is not about trying to become someone you’re not. Having awareness to your own personality (Shadow and Light), will help you embrace your presence in this world as a whole. This brings us to the next point:
- Self-acceptance. How can you fully embrace yourself if you don’t accept that you’re flawed? that there are aspects of your personality that hold traits that are negative or low-vibrational? It’s just not possible. Acceptance of the Self comes from understanding that it’s OK to experience emotions and allow negative to show up without judgement. To move towards the Light we need to know the Shadows.
- Less resistance. Imagine you know more about yourself, who you came here to be, the role your emotions play, and everything we mentioned at the beginning… don’t you think you’ll live more in harmony with all of the aspects of your personality instead of going against them? That’s exactly why we can access all this information, because we can be more in-tune with our own nature and be more authentic.
- You can take empowered decisions that are more in alignment with your essence and by making the best use of the cosmic available energies at the time. For example, at the time of writing this blog we have Jupiter, the planet of expansion, in the fire sign of Aries. This means that during this time we can take courageous decisions and bold initiatives, start something we never dared to before. Knowing which energies are available to us will help us be more in flow and create better circumstances for ourselves.
- Personal expansion. Astrology provides a clear guidance about your own potential for the evolution of your persona, your ego, and the clear direction is given by your sun sign. You came here to be your zodiac sun sign in its whole splendor, but each an every planet also has additional teachings for us.
- Achieve your goals. This is another benefit of knowing the available energies and acting on great timing! You can set and achieve goals, setting soul-led intentions to accomplish your desires and create a life that is soul-full.
- Improve relationships by knowing what’s important to you in this area of your life, how you connect to others and how you love. Knowing this will allow you to create more harmony and balance with others.
- Career and business development. This will let you know if you have an entrepreneur profile to start your own business or what are the potential career choices you can take in line with your Soul. As I said before we all have gifts and talents and through our career we can express the nature of who we are. With astrology we can understand how we lead others, identify our ideal client and how we can integrate our emotional body in our business development.
Note: The ancient greek aphorism “Know thyself” makes reference to the importance of exploring the most intimate part of our being. Through self-knowledge we discover the truth of what is.
As you can see knowing who you are at a soul level has many benefits, and like I said in other occasions, who you are and what you Soul desires to do for growth and to experience itself in this lifetime, it’s all available to you for guidance. When you arrive for a new human experience you’re not “thrown” here with nothing, on the contrary, there’s a lot of information you can access, to make your life a much more pleasure and fulfilling experience.
