Tarot is such an enlightening tool and yet so misunderstood and misjudged!
I remember when I saw a set of Spanish cards for the first time when I was little girl. They looked so interesting to me, “how can one play with these cards?!”; they looked so different and I could sense there might be something more to them. But then I was told: “don’t touch those cards! They are evil and you will be doomed!”. It was so confusing to me! How can this little thing doom me? It didn’t make any sense. But then I let them go, and the next time I got in front of them was when I got my first reading, in my early 20’s. I went with some of my friends to see this older lady, she was kind of “la bruja del barrio” (LOL), we all pretty much had this feeling of doing something “wrong”, because we all carry this judgment on the cards and on the people that work intuitively, concepts that we have learned from a patriarcal society that doesn’t value intuition, and consider the “cards are evil, that you have to be a bruja to read them, that they predict the future” and so many other things that I definitely don’t agree with.
The tarot clarifies, shows the will of the querent and helps to discover what is in him.

If you’re someone that already have certain beliefs about Tarot, like for example: “it’s evil”, “I don’t want to know my future”, “it will tell me something bad and it will happen”… ( You can check my YouTube video Demystifying Tarot ), I will not try to convince you other wise. I’ve come to understand that people’s views are theirs and that have nothing to do with me. Nonetheless, I will share my view about them. I see Tarot Cards as a door to one’s soul, to one’s subconscious, more than for divination, they are to me, a coaching tool. My approach to reading tarot cards is transformational, with the sole purpose to help you improve your life: by recognizing patterns, archetypes, behaviours, limiting beliefs and looking into possible solutions. The intention is to bring healing, not future prediction. I concentrate mainly in looking into past things that have brought you were you are (or that you’re still dragging) and how we can change here and now. If you change your present, you can transform your future, and ultimately, your life.
A Tarot reading can help you take an informed decision that will help you evolve in your soul’s path and human experience. Imagine Tarot as an x-ray that help you see things from another perspective, a deeper manner, that will allow you to see things, that cannot be seen regularly. It can help you then, to find solutions to problems, where you can make a perfect mix of the logical and rational, the emotional intelligences adding the spiritual perspective from the Tarot.
